The Blueprint 2011 was held at MBS some time last month. My boyfriend wanted to go so I followed him there. It is an annually event that showcases emerging regional fashion designers to network and publicize their brands to buyers and the public.

It was definitely fun, like a flea mart just that the items are one-of-a-kind, daring and inspiring!

They had everything from bags to shoes to clothes and accessories of all kinds...

We had our local designers like Revasseur! She studied Fashion in Japan and her stuff are sooo dreamy and adorable!! And nope that isn't her in the pic, just some random girl watching the booth!

I bought a pair of heels by this Indonesian designer UP at the event. My parcel was supposed to arrive on Thursday but I just recieved them this afternoon! Yay I've been waiting for the arrival and I'm so happy it arrived early! heehee

I loved how it is comfortable and casual yet stylish.

Short break!

I'm currently on a 2 weeks short break from work life.

Soon I'll be joining a new organization with better prospect than my previous. Pray I'll have good colleagues like my previous workplaces to work with again. :)

Right now I've got my hands full with a book or two.. at least for this week. So if anyone wanna hit me up for next week, I'm absolutely free and available.

And I would very much love to go karaoke, I haven't enjoyed one as much as I did last time. Old times... where I would sing for 5 hours.. I wish to revive those old times again. hee

Bought refill packets of Segreta shampoo & conditioner since mine ran out a few days ago.
Lucky to have 2 sisters as air stewardess or else how do I get my goodies from!
Whats more at a cheaper price ^^ hehe!

Gonna try out the Candy Doll's mineral powder.
Have been hearing good reviews about it. (^_^)bbb

Also my sis got me glittery gold-pinkish brown eye shadow from Kanebo!
The colors are to die for!! Love gold pink & brown shades best!
You won't be able to get this in Singapore!
Or at least not yet... ;)

I haven't blog for the longest time due to my new job in this korean company based in Singapore.
Laziness some calls it. But because I couldn't take awesome photos!!
My iPhone camera sucks alot (aside for the cool camera apps) its so damn grainy.
As you can see from the above photos all taken from my iPhone.
And it doesnt help a lazy person to lug her DSLR everywhere she goes.
Thats why, I'm gonna get a new camera next month!!
I managed to live without a digital camera for a year!
Just last December my Nikon slipped out of my grip and you know, smashed lens and so forth.
So it was gone, beyond repair.

Hopefully after I got my cam, the Panasonic Lumix 5 (for now, in mind) to be exact..
I'd be more hardworking and update my dead blog more often again!

☆JULY was one of the best month for me.☆
Because my BFF, Natalie came back from Korea to spend her Summer Vacation with me!!
How can I not be over the moon!? ;)
It was everything I could ask for.

I knew she was coming back but didn't know the exact date.
And one fine day she suddenly just call me telling me she just hit shore!!

So we went to the beach because I wanted to tan.
I wanna ditch that "fair skin girl" image that stuck around me for years!!
I WANNA BE TANNED AGAIN.

And so like every girly girl around the world,
we do what we love to do best.
CAM-WHORE!!

Natalie doesn't want our pics on FB thus I didn't put up there.
Hopefully she won't kill me when she sees me post it on my blog. ;P

Looking back at our photos..
It always remind me how we became friends.
It felt just like yesterday when we were attended Japanese class together.

♡Happy Father's Day♡

**This year's Father's Day, two of my elder sisters couldn't make it so its just me, my younger sis, my brother and my mom celebrating for my dad!**

Initially we wanted to head to town for something different, but my dad want to avoid the city area because it'll definitely be jam packed with Father's Day celebrations everywhere. So we decided on our all-time favourite place, Sushi Tei! Usually we dine at the Serangoon Gardens' outlet but we decided on a change today and gave Thomson Plaza's outlet one a try! :)

After that I treated my family to karaoke at KBox. It was damn funny cuz my dad amazingly managed to find some of his chinese wayang and sang to it. I recorded a video on it but its not meant for public! Haha And sadly we didn't take any photos. hehe

☆Sister's Birthday & Farewell Party for Kimmy!☆

**24th June is my eldest sister's birthday. Also my brother, Kimmy is leaving for Brisbane the same week. This was the only day all of us were free to gather around for a short dinner.**

A group founded by American Idol judge, tv producer etc. Simon Cowell.
They look really hot esp. Carlos Marin.
That charisma and voice of his just stole my heart!!
Plus he is also a Spanish that explains why I'm so attracted to him!
I'm so gonna take up spanish one day!

Anyway I know I haven't been blogging for a month plus.
I got a job at some advertising firm and I gave most of my time to the company.
That explains why I didnt have the time/mood to blog.

But.
I resigned a few days ago and thus I got my life back and I'm back!
Back in the cyber world too.

Right now my plans are...
I think I'm not going to stick to any organization for now.
I'm going to take things as it comes...

I'm also planning to pick up my Japanese where I left off.

Crystal Kay a.k.a. Kuri cyan/CK is my idol ♡

Just a brief description about her. Full name, Crystal Kay Williams, she was born and raised in Japan to an African American father and Korean mother. Although her mother is Korean, Crystal does not speak Korean. CK is fluent in Japanese and English, thus her songs are mainly in this two languages. (Mainly Japanese songs as compared to English.)

I first learnt of her when she sang Motherland for Fullmetal Alchemist 3rd Ending. I was in love with her voice and began listening to her other songs.

Kiss & Sweet Friends I remember were my second favourite because listening to them made me feel good and happy.

Follow on, Hard to Say (Acoustic Ver.) became my number one song from her. The arrangement of a guitar and her voice was the most perfect binding ever. The lyrics are also things I really relate to. Things like that that spoke in my mind, the fear of voicing out your feelings, the uncertainty and all. (Lyrics translation can be found here.)

I never fail to sing Hard to Say every single time I go and sing karaoke with my friends. I sang so many times that they could even sing along.

恋に落ちたら and 涙があふれても are also my great favorites during Karaoke sessions.

I like her airy yet rich soulful voice that is just perfect for acoustic singing. I have a thing for acoustic songs. But that aside, her voice is just amazing.

I love it when she sings English too. Boyfriend has both Japanese & English version. But I shall only put the English version here~! :)

She has worked with many of my favourite artists like M-FLO, BoA, Chemistry and Ken Hirai! I really love M-FLO too. They are just the best at making catchy cool electro-pop beats. 最高だ！！ They created BoA's The Love Bug ya? Yes that song was awesome-licious.

I love how Verbal from M-Flo, BoA & CK hangs out alot. They all make great music!

CK with Chemistry on one of her hit song, After Love -First Boyfriend-.

Crystal Kay and BoA is practically BFFs that they sang together in a song called, Girlfriend.

Doesn't CK looks gorgeous here?

And with Ken Hirai dueting on James Taylor's You've got a friend.

Crystal Kay should sing more english songs. She sounds really good and I'll be more than happier to sing along in a language I'm more familiar with.

Kyushu Trip Dec 2009

• School Trip Kyushu DAY 1 •

This took me the longest time to get it up here.

Why?

Cause I was too bloody lazy to compile them.

But its definitely a memory worth keeping. It was my best time I've ever had in Japan. Although I have been to Tokyo its nothing special in particular because it feels like Singapore only 5x cooler. But Kyuushuu was brilliantt!!! The scenery is breath-taking, the air was so clean and awesome, the people were the nicest, the food and shopping (wish I could have more time on shopping) but the experience there you will not experience it in your daily life.

Have you fed seagulls!? No!

Have you experience the first snow!? Maybe.

Did you do farm stay?! Most prolly not!

So this make our trip so much cooler!! ;)

Unfortunately due to my carelessness, I dropped my camera half way during the trip therefore only the first 4 days' photos most prolly belong to me but I might add my classmates' and fellow school mates' photos too who went on the trip to complete the story.

Pasta Love!

Hey.

Sorry for the absence of a month. I am suppose to be more free after graduation – which is true.. Just that there hasn't been anything exciting lately of much. Well okay... maybe I'm just alil' lazy only. Hehe!

Anyway I do have a really exciting thing going on for me of late!! Like something really worth going mad joy for. BUT sadly, I think the timing isn't right. Thus, I can't share with you guys yet (although I just wanna shout it out loud now) but when I know the final outcome of it.. I'll let you guys in to this secret.

(But actually I did let some close friends & family know about it already. :P)

Anyway at the meantime, what I've been doing during all these while was basically slacking. Yeah. Most would call it slacking but I've actually started doing something productive so I can't really be hold up for slacking. I'm still looking for a design-related job (if you know of one please introduce it to me) and so far I've not managed to find one suitable for me and vice versa for the companies I've interviewed at.

I'm currently re-arranging my room and cleaning up the mess that had stuck around with me since 2 years ago? Ever since 2 years ago, I totally gave up trying to maintain the tidiness in my room cause if you're a designer you know its really hard maintaining. Being a designer, time is precious and it is fully utilized in our work therefore, no time to clean up. And especially when it comes to datelines, my room will look like its been ransacked over and over again by burglars. Okay. Maybe its just me! Maybe I'm just lazy if you're a designer and a very good at keeping up. But don't forget I'm sharing my room with my fellow designer sister and with TWO! I tell you two designers put in one room, its C.H.A.O.T.I.C.

Okay, so today was a perfectly beautiful windy Sunday evening.. Me and my sister decided to hit town for some room-essentials shopping. But before that, my sis suggested Pizza Hut for dinner. But we didn't went there for their pizzas but pastas. We are such Pasta fans.

So cheap so cheap, of cuz must buy two!!

I'm using 01 which is Natural Brown.

Its abit blur cause I'm using my iPhone.
(No cam at the moment!)

The colour isn't that obvious in these pics.
But you can try seeing my other pics. :P

I also bought 02 - Greyish Brown which is more like mocha brown.
That is more suitable for dark hair color.
(Like now that I dye a darker color..)

I first got this from Japan during my Kyushu trip and after trying the tester out,
I was sold!

I like the fact that the more you apply the more darker it gets.
So you are in total control of the shade.
And for me I like it light, so its really simple, just a few brushes.

I kinda regretted only buying one then.
But not anymore, cuz I managed to buy here in Singapore at a much cheaper price!

Wednesday Ladies' Night
at Supper club and Butter Factory.

Anyways, first up was muah at Supper club:

Seriously. Don't even waste your time going there.
Music sucks, no crowd and um just boring.
Just like a review I saw about Supper club, we recommend you the exit door.

Whereas, a stark difference,
Butter Factory music is ♡AWESOME♡ the whole night!
We danced non-stop since we stepped in till it closed.
(Approx. 3 hours)
Freaking dance out hearts out!!

When Butter closed, we wanted to walk to the nearest MacDonald to chill when we passed by Esplanade. They have this small water pond and Erika started dipping her feet in and didnt' want to stop. The rest of the girls also started dipping our worn-out foot inside. It was super good! Damn relaxing like foot therapy.

And god, our stinky foot contaminated the pond. Haha!

Congrats to every one of you in the Unit 10 Grad show.
And much thanks to those who came down!!

私の学校の最後のプロジェクトは終わりました！

Anyhow, CNY this year was pretty fab.

My mom kept feeding us loads of shark fin, yu sheng & abalone days before CNY!

And my parents went Vietnam on the first day of CNY (aka V Day),
so I got to celebrate the day with my love.

My BF got me a bouquet of lilac roses at an expensive price.

As much as I loved it, I was shock at the price!

Shan't disclose it.

We went Giraffe for dinner!!
Sadly, they only serve the Valentines' Set Meal that day.
I couldn't get to eat their usual fabilicious food!!

Well, it wasn't that bad.

And I was given a complimentary rose~!

But the price for the Valentines' Day Set was... So not worth it I'd say.

Still,
The place and food is fab on usual!
Not too expensive as the outer image might portray.

Its a restaurant/pub located right opposite Plaza Singapura.
I love that the interior is very comfy and the all-glass-walls so you can look out.

Go check it out if you happen to be looking for somewhere fancy yet affordable! :)

We went on to catch a movie I've been waiting to watch!
I think this movie is a typical teen-fantasy movie.
The plot is highly predictable and just one thing I was pretty annoyed.

They didn't specify why Zeus was so keen it was Percy Jackson who stole the lightning bolt. He just went, "Your son stole it." to Poseidon. And insisted he return it in 10 or 12 days or else there will be war. -_- What lame excuse to have a war. And at the end, when Percy returns the bolt on the dot and explained to Zeus who stole it and why. Zeus and the other gods didn't seem to bother with the guy who stole it and why he stole it for. It seems like it was a problem they should reflect on. And they just like treat it its nothing. Weird much? Makes the story a whole lot shallow. They just want something to do, someone to blame, action, adventure, journey. Typical.

And I'm in the Publicity team,

Omg before I start my blog on the final edition of my birthday celebrations,

I've been caught up with school presentation for our 2nd review.
It took up all well almost all time preparing for it.

And boy, am I glad its freaking over for good
Now its time to venture all my attention to the up and coming Japan trip!

I'm jetting off Saturday night and reaching Japan in the morning!
Mad excited.

Have already started packing my luggage like a week before the trip.
Just shows how much excitement contained in me for this trip.
Why??
Cuz there will be so many things I've never done before thats going to happen!

Homestay in Farmer's house for one.
That sounds like super fun!!
And visiting the design universities and tea ceremony in Japan.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN PEOPLE!!

We're entering my favourite month of the year!

Counting down, there are exactly 22 days to my birthday.

I'll be turning 20!
And this year, I'm going to spend it with J obviously.
We've made some plans.. He'll countdown my birthday with me.
First person I'll wake up to see in the dawn of my birthday. hehe

Anyway, the birthday wish that I planned for myself..
I've fulfilled it.

On the eve of Halloween
the fateful day which determines whether I get to drive on my birthday..

I got my virgin ride as I drove my brother out to the MRT station!

- Finally bought my Iphone a couple of weeks back! HOORAY!

School is back!

☆School is back on my schedule!!★

And it feels like I hadn't been to school for a really long time.

Well, actually it is true.
I've been out of school and was on attachment for 3 months.
Plus extending my work during our 1 month school break..
which sums up to 4 months since I last attended school.

And must I emphasize it again?
This is our final semester.
After that,
its bye bye stinkin' NYP and say hello if you come to our grad show!!

Omg I can't wait to graduate yet nervous for working life!!
Yikes! So nerve-racking..

Oh, and now that we're still in school, all 40 over of us (from our course)..
Its really crazy that the whole of Visual Communication students(2oo7's batch) are in 1 room.
Its just madness to put 40 over creative mad students in 1 room.

Anything CAN happen.
Its gonna be havoc (esp. when rushing for submission).

And its only the first day of school and me and 2 of my close buds from school
are already out of campus illegally and wondering about.

Nahh... actually we did tell our lecturers that we are leaving school for awhile.
I went back to my internship company to get my laptop and all my stuff there.
So thats why we were outside of campus.

And so far, the potential companies that I picked and wanna work with..
Are bloody private held companies!!

Like god damn it, can't we just work on private held companies too??

I doubt I can persuade our lecturers to alter the brief abit.
But seriously, most of the public listed companies are doing so well.
And those that are not doing well are just a handful.
I bet someone has already chosen those companies.

Its a headache trying to find a good company which is public listed and is not doing very well to work with.

Yesterday was Victoria's last day at her office
and together with Kristy we headed down to Yello Jello and got drinks & food
on the house from our lovely manager, Steven!!

After enjoying the good ol' live band there,
we switched to my favourite outlet out of all our outlets..

Got free Peony Jade tea on the house too from Grant!
Grant is also a awesome host/manager.
His output is 110% to make the customers comfortable.

Anyway he told me they'll be serving salads and hotdogs!
Cuz I'm helping out with the Shop's lightbox.
We'll be changing the pictures cuz some are way too old and no longer exist.
I'll definitely go there to eat more often if they do serve salads!

I'm so thankful for their friendliness.
And now I know why connections are so important seriously.
It feels good!!

My phone dropped and cracked.

Its a flip phone and the hinge came off. But miraculously, my phone is still alive and kicking. But it'll need repair.. Flipping my phone open must be handled with care.

This phone holds an extremely important meaning to me so I'm so sadden that I didn't take better care of it.

If only time could be reversed.. =(

Oh BUT this news just happened technically yesterday but I'm still awake.. Its 12:38 Am now. So um yes, I have finished all 30 sections of my driving course and I've already booked my Practical Test which will fall on the 3oth of next month, October!

I tried playing with it but failed terribly at it. I need to practice with it more. The lip concealer feels so weird on my lips. And someone throw me a lip balm I can't find mine. Lost mine again J just bought for me!! :'( My lips are so dry probably why it doesn't look good either.

Oh I've been playing with eye shadows recently. And I just dug up some MAC stuff that I bought a long time ago.. Prolly a year plus but still new, never touched. I decided to use the pink eye shadow and I loved it! (Duh, I bought it) Oh and ignore my stupid spastic expression.↓

↑↑↑I don't know if you even realize but I cut my fringe short just recently. It got way too long and in a sense I regretted cutting it but it can still grow back plus it was getting on my nerves.

My Sister & Mom went to Seoul for holiday recently.

I got them to help me get some facial stuff from Skin food and Etude House. I also got me and Shi Li's G Dragon Solo Album, Heartbreaker, which is slightly cheaper by a few dollars then those selling online. The album packaging is such an inspiration! I got it just for the sake of inspiration purposes. (Its the one with his face moulded on the cover with blood like tears trickling down) The insides are a delight which I would like to share it with you guys but maybe not. If you guys wanna see it so much, go google it (you can find pictures of it) or buy it please. Show some support for our man, G.D.!

Super duper cheap can! I got over 10 stuff and each item costs average about 10 dollars (Sing). So worth my money can!

First to congratulate all those on internship for coming this far and look! We have only a week more to endure/enjoy this excrutiating/exciting job of ours.

And today is rush rush rush rush.. RUSH!!

What a beautiful start of the 2nd last week of work! BUT, I'm so happy that I managed to hit target with finishing up the Cafe del Mar Tentcard, edit the Cafe del Mart Drinks Menu for the one last time before sending it to print and lastly completed my Sweet Wednesday Menu for again, Cafe del Mar.

Here is it! I'm pretty happy with it although it could entire be so much more better due to lack of time.

Woohoo! Omg I realize I'm so busy with work that I blog in a weekly basis now. Not that its any good/bad thing but trying to squeeze so many events that happened in one week in one pathetic post is kind of tiresome. So I'll just shortcut and upload photos that I've taken within this week and explain along the way.

Went to Tampopo recently and decided to try out other stuff rather then the usual Tontoro Shabu Shabu Ramen, which is award-winning but I felt the standard dropped although the soup is still tasty. And I totally agree with my colleague, Dray, that Marutama's ramen is alot nicer especially the chashu. *Okay siliva is gonna drip.*

Starting with sushi.

I tried the Ikura & Salmon Temaki which was awesome. Fresh salmon and ikura, the seaweed is crispy okay. Not soggy like most "Japanese" restaurants would serve as "freshly-made".

AND

To my happiness, I finally finally found the onigiri that was similar to the one I tried in Japan. Their Sake Onigiri is awesome. Probably all their onigiri (only 3 though) are great but ah, you should know by now that I'm a salmon lover. So Sake Onigiri is the one for me, plus the size is pretty big and for only $2.50 per piece. Worth your penny.

Coming to the dessert part..

I love you Tampopo!! I'm going to visit you more often! Even J was soooo in love with their dessert he is bugging me to bring him back to eat. We had Scoop cake. Its fucking awesome that I seriously don't care if I eat the cream. Its one of the best cakes I had around town that explains why J can't stop thinking about the cake too. We were lucky to get to taste it cause I think they sold out pretty fast.

My picture quality doesn't do justice to the cake but what can you do with only a phone on hand then. =\ Each slice of scoop cake costs like $6? Damn worth it, can.

I've always love Warabi Mochi, its one of my favourite Japanese dessert ever.

☆★☆★A HAPPY 44TH BIRTHDAY!!☆★☆★

I'll be celebrating for you in a while. I got tickets to the NDP show. Awesome! I haven't been to one in a really long. I don't consider myself patriotic but I do wanna catch the show, its something everyone look forward to no matter of what age, race, etc. as long as you're Singaporean part of you will definitely want to watch it.

The Cannery at the same time is rushing to set up for the NDP party. I came down on Friday with Antz to help out. Location of warzone is in ZIRCA level 2 some room unauthorised personal cannot enter. How I like to have the priviledge to enter places regular people can't. But its not for fun either, its work work work.

Started with helping out for the Rebel props. Army helmets and guns with the word REBEL or R! spray painted on it.

For Zirca, 4 of us, Drayson, Mingus, Yi Fang and me painted 24 shirts with words like "LAH LOH LEH" or "Uniquely Singapore"..

Reached home at about 3am.. Slept less than 3 and 1/2 hours and went for driving class. Also after that straight went to the Da Vinci Exhibition which was pretty much below expectation. A little disappointed. Hate the crowd over there. I do like children but can't tolerate idiotic children squeezing their way through or stepping on your feet.

I swear if their parents weren't looking I would have pushed them back or step their feet back. So bloody rude and running all over the place.

Just another weekend again..

Another week passes again and its the weekends again.. Trying to control my hunger pangs with this tibit which is all the rave about at work.

Coop some from my colleague's desk. (^^P) Its basically a cracker made out of egg and it is super healthy because the filling inside is made from 10 over kind of beans or something. Oh and its made from Taiwan.. lol.

I got a new desk recently cause my creative director left and they said I could use his table for now! :D

This week is pretty rushy. Rushing things all the time. Am rushing the I LOVE VEUVE CLICQUOT flyer for Cafe Del Mar. It'll be printed on A1 size too I think.. Can't wait to show you guys when I'm done! (cuz lots of DI to do to it...)

Weekend updates!

Its been exactly a month since attachment started! Wow.. it has passed really fast. And I fell sick on Wednesday. It got worst on Friday and Saturday morning. But anyway, today I am much better only the phelgm which have been stucked in my throat for days. I've been trying to force it out but it just wouldn't. So stubborn!

Friday Night
Met up with Chloe and Shili for dinner. Initially we were suppose to catch Harry Potter. 2nd time for me, 1st timers for them. But the others were too weary after mid-critique today which they didn't slept the night before rushing their presentation.

I decided on Liang Court hoping to go Tampopo.. But the queue was extremely long because its dinner time. So we went to ☆Marutama☆ instead. Didn't regret it. It was good too.

Lazy Sunday
I just want to say that I love dogs.. but I'm so going to keep a cat next time!! That is, after I moved out and live alone. I have been keeping dogs for all my life, since I was able to start walking. My Dad is a major dog-lover and a ex-breeder. One time, we even have 10 or more dogs at once. That is because the adults gave birth to like 7 puppies! That is really alot. And the process of giving birth takes hours(like the whole night). I salute my dog man.

But there was once I took in a poor little lost kitten and treated it like my baby. It was so cute, cute can't even explain my adoration for it. And my mom gave it away because our house is full of dogs. She didn't even tell me she was giving it away and just one day I came home from school hoping to see my baby and its gone. I remember crying continuously for hours. I'll never forgive my mom for that. :'( But it was so long ago, let bygones be bygones.

And this afternoon, after lunch I was in my room using the computer and my sister asked me if I want to go pay respect to my grandmother whom just passed away. And I was like "Er.. I'll skip that, got something to do." And she was like "OK..." after that I asked, "Where you all going to pray?" She replied, "Our uncle's house lah.." then I asked excitedly, "Oh the one with the cat??" She replied once more, "Yah.."

"OK, I'm going."

Then she accused me of being a ungrateful granddaughter... wth man.. Anyway yeah, I love their cat! Tobby to be exact.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Review

Fantasy novels are my love. And definitely I can't give a miss to one of favourite novel series' movie which I too have been loyally watching every movie that came out from this franchise.

Yes, after a really long wait... (all the push backs) finally Harry potter and the Half blood prince is out!

I wasn't that all hyped up because of the long wait but after reading some reviews over the internet of the new HP movie, I was really looking forward to it!

All I could think of was that this was a really great movie and I'll definitely rewatch it again because once isn't enough. I always rewatch the previous ones too. HP is definitely one of the few movies that I will rewatch over and over again without feeling bored. The Matrix trilogy I watched it over a gazillion times. I never get bored with Keanu Reeves as The Chosen One.

So anyway this time, the movie concentrates more on character building. You can see the change of Harry Potter being less irritable unlike the Order of the Phoenix. Love is in the air as they all grow up and realize the attraction there is between each other. Ginny and Harry love begins. Ron got himself a girlfriend unwillingly and Hermione being all jealous and hurt about Ron.

I really love Emma Watsons, she is a pretty and awesome actress. In reality she is smart too. There were many comedic scenes with Ron lightening up the air in the movie theatre. I think he really outshines Harry in most parts of the acting this time round.

The most mind blowing part of the whole movie was when Harry and Dumbledore set out to find what was to be the fake horcrux. The scene with Dumbledore using the last of his strength to conjure fire to rid of the terrifying almost-skeletones attackers. Its so irritating, I knew they were about to appear and still I jumped when one of the sketetone fingers suddenly grabbed Harry's hand out from the water. (Totally hate being so jumpy..)

It was so sad when Dumbledore died. But when I think again I didn't like how Michael Gambon protrayed as Albus Dumbledore. Unlike the late actor, Richard Harris. He IS the Dumbledore I imagine him to be, wise and calm at all times. Again I am repeating this rant on how much they are different and how much I didn't like Michael Gambon's acting. He was too jumpy and stern for the wise ol' Dumbledore. As I was saying, I thought again and I felt, Hey! I don't have to stand seeing him being jumpy and un-wisely!

The show was in a rush and prolly cause I already know what is going to happen next, when it ended I was kinda like, "Huh, it ended! What about that part and that part..." Oh and not forgetting the part when Snape told Harry Potter he was the Half Blood Prince... It totally didn't explain properly why he is half blood prince and how Snape found out Harry was reading his old potions book, etc. So for those who don't know about the Potter stories would be like, "Huh who the fuck is half blood prince? And how come suddenly that guy with greasy hair is the half blood prince!?"

Yeah I can totally imagine the confusions people who don't read the book get.

For fellow readers who read Harry Potter, its just like a re-run of what we read in Book 6. It isn't the best they could do but its not bad either. It was actually visual-satisfying and entertainging with all the funny things that goes around Ron, his family and friends.

Okay, this is also not the best review. But still, HP rulz... actually more than Twilight. Although all the hots for Twilight is on now, I have grew pretty mundane about it. But of course these two series are still one of my favourites!

ps: I haven't been reading lately, any recommendations out there? Perhaps the next twilight or HP-to-be?

Goodbye, Grandma♡.

It has been a really tiresome week dealing with work and my Grandma's sudden departure.

Yesterday was the last day of her funeral. I must say I have never seen so much flowers (yes, I use the much because its uncountable!) garlands at a funeral before. And every night, it was close to full house those who visited her funeral. I am glad for the response because she deserves it. She is a great person and she deserves this much attention.

From now on, she is really gone. Physically, she has left us because my uncles chose to cremate her body. But of course, I believe that spiritually and mentally, she is with us forever.

I'll always remember her voice, her soft silky skin, her chubby smiling face.. and the times we spent together. Especially that early dusk where we took a stroll in the park when I was a kid. I will never forget that special moment with her. Goodbye, grandma♡.

I ain't a Michael Jackson fan till his death. I listen to his songs when I was really young but the infatuation never grew maybe because I was too young or perhaps I never did want to get to know him better. I regret so much now. After reading about his life and about him, I think he is the most amazing person ever with the saddest childhood. Now I understand why so many people look up to him as an inspiration. And I am so angry at how people malign him of doing things I believe he would never do.

Anyway that doesn't matter to me. I just think its so annoying to keep bringing up allegations that weren't even proven. I just think this people who falsely accused him are trying to rip some money from him because he is so rich. I don't care if you go rip some rich-ass people's money but you shouldn't go ripping him of his money. He works hard for it and gave large amount of his money to charity. He is the founder of Heal the World Foundation (HTWF). And you guys are just stealing money which he would have given to people in need. You assholes should be ashame of yourself!

Michael is a shy but is honest, kind, generous and gentle person. He would never do something to harm someone else. To me, I think he is a child at heart but hides it on stage.

People also questioned his face/look and skin color changed along his career and he did admit to rhinoplasty and adding a cleft into his chin to look more masculine (which I think is a mistake man).

Truth no.1: But you didn't know why he did rhinoplasty right? Many ask why he would want to go do his nose. Truth is he broke his nose while doing a complex dance move. So its not because of vanity. And don't go laughing at his failed operation. He didn't want this to happen. It was an accident. Not all plastic surgery is because of vanity.

Truth no.2: And why his skin color changed from honey brown to white? NO, he didn't bleached it like many of us thought. *I admit that was what I thought last time.* He is diagnosed with Vitiligo. It is some skin disorder that causes depigmentation. To cover up the patches of depigmentation on his skin, he had to put make up to cover it up causing him to look very white.

Truth no.3: Why he looked horrible swallow. He was addicted to painkillers and other medications causing him to even stop eating as he try to fight the addiction. It was also what caused his life.

Okay enough about his false allegations and drastic change in appearance. You guys whoever is a fan before me or even after me or at the same time with me, haha what am I saying... Third day of work.

First day　outfit⤴

Attachment has begun and I would say that I'm really lucky to get this job. And I would laugh at it too seeing how fate has brought me and this company which I have worked under before together again. Its a reunion.

Just a brief explanation, I used to work in this shoe boutique at Paragon called Nue. This is under the same company as The Cannery, LifeBrandz. But due to some or perhaps many complicated reasons, business was not well leading it to close down.

Okay, back to why I feel really lucky to get this job.. Reason is, their jobs what we visual communicationists are trained to do only better and more professional! Plus, I have many seniors to guide me and give me critical critics to how I can improve my work. I can see myself learning a lot from them. I am also trying to do my best and give my all. This people are the real deal in this industry man! My creative director, which I heard is quite a legend in this industry. Many famous design and art studios know him and look for him. I took one and half day trying to get the layout right, and his one comment made me like able to fart(process) again. He is a genius really. Gifted mannn....

What I was doing this three days since the beginning of attachment is a promotional menu for Cafe Del Mar at Sentosa. Its their special monthly cocktail and dessert menu.

SINGAPORE: Nanyang Polytechnic has confirmed its first case of H1N1 patient – a year one student who contracted the flu outside campus from her boyfriend who works at the nightspot, Butter Factory.

The patient was in contact with nine other students.

Nanyang Poly said on Friday that all these students are reported to be well so far, and they have been instructed to take a Leave of Absence from campus.

The infected student, meanwhile, was discharged from the Communicable Disease Centre on Thursday and will be on home quarantine until next Tuesday.

Nanyang Poly had earlier planned for students to continue lessons online when the new term starts next Monday.

A spokesperson said the decision then was a precautionary measure and not a direct response to any confirmed cases.

Classes on campus will resume from July 6.

Once again, please take care and try to keep away from crowded places.

The Last Legend

I think by now everyone should have known that the Last Legend aka the King of Pop, Michael Jackson has ceased to exist in our world. At the age of 50, Michael has suffered a fatal heart attack. It feels like something really important in everyone is lost. Although he doesn't effect our daily life, but his death has evoked a memory that lies deeply in everyone who knows him for what he does best.

Jackson, who rise to fame first as a member of the Jackson Five and then as a solo act with hits like Billie Jean and Thriller. Those were he golden times. I remember watching his music videos many times when I was really young. Thriller really left a deep impression in me, I was so afraid when I was a kid. He turned into a werewolf then a zombie (the other zombies were really great at acting!) and how he tricked the girl to believing that nothing is wrong but there is something wrong with him!! Urggh..

But my most favourite music video of his is...
Smooth Criminal!!

Its not the full complete one but I remember how the children mimicked his dance moves and MJ was so charming. I like that every corner of the room there is something going on and there is this tinge of magic in it. Definitely one of the best video of his.

It felt very surreal when my sister sms me about his news. But now its more or less settled in me. Haha I think many people had a shocked too because it happened so sudden. But there have always been rumor that he wasn't in good health and that he is on medications. Plus because of his upcoming tour I think the stress level he couldn't take it thus resulting in his cardiac arrest.

I don't know if it just me but I realize that 'great' people whom are extremely famous tends to pass away young and doesn't live till their are old are wrinkled. It feels as if they have exchanged their rich and fame for half of their lives. And people who are poor or bad tends to live longer. Is this what we called balance? You either rich and die young or poor and die old. Hmm... just a penny of thoughts. Look at Elvis Prisley and Princess Diana. They are good examples of my theory.

Speaking of Princess Diana I recall Elton John who wrote a song as a tribute to her. And I was thinking he'll definitely write one for Michael Jackson and he really did! What I'm surprise is how fast he wrote the song.. it was as if he had it all prepared. LOL Imagine his thoughts going like this right after Diana's death, 'Hmm what good response I get from this tribute song for Diana.. Maybe I should start writing for other famous people who will pass on too.. Oh I know the very right person that is worth my invest. Michael Jackson, the world's last legend who'll need it someday! Yes... Why yes!!' And then he would run along to write the song titled, Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me.. (*This is just a figment of my imaginations, it is not necessary accurate.*)

Anyway I pray for his family, friends and die-heart fans to overcome this tragedy well and may the legendary pop king rest in peace.

Finally!! The long awaited IAP (Industrial Attachment Programme)...

I got the job at The Cannery! Yeah, you got it right – its the one that houses 5 night bars & clubs in Singapore.
Like The Clinic, Lunar, Rebel.. etc.

I don't extremely dig clubbing but this brings a whole new level of fun. Hope that I will love both the work and people there.

Please NO politics. Uh-uh, count me out.

Will be checking out the location tomorrow with some of my classmates. :)

What!? No? You should so catch it right now!

LOL. Well okay if you have, good for you. If you're not interested in 'machine' movies then too bad. :\ I caught the movie today with J and its brilliant!

*No worries, read on.. There is no spoiler in this post.*

This have the whole package, action, romance, comedy and hot babes. Although I didn't catch the first one, it doesn't really matter because its not difficult to understand. You just have to which are the good and the bad robots. The good ones (with colors) are obviously helping the human race fight off the evil ones(boring metal gray). Thats how I identify them at least.

And its weird but I love Optimus Prime!

I think he is so so cool.. And his disguise – the truck, reminds me of childhood.. Used to have an Optimus Prime toy which could transform and although I remember watching the cartoon, its really vague. I can't really remember the contents but I can still remember the song. I used to sing it with my brother when we were young. haha

Oh and did I mention, Megan Fox is freaking hot! She is so gorgeous, her blue eyes are so electrifying!

Heard that she will be replacing Angelina Jolie in the third installation of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider movie. You got to love her, she is my new idol! :)

My ratings for this movie: Run run! Get out of the couch and jet your way to the theatres!

PS: Super nervous about going down school tmr!! Details of our internship will be given to us at 10am and we'll start next week!! >.<

Yesterday was submission.

I am pretty disappointed with what I have. It didn't turn out how I want it to be. It just reminded how much I lack and suck at. Anyway, I was so tired over rushing everything the night before and with that one comment from my lecturer made me feel so angry and hurt. But I was too mentally and physically drained or I would have voice my anger but it swelled up in tears.

I know she didn't mean to say mean stuff but she did not understand what I went through to get it there. But whatever. What is done is done, I should stop thinking about it.

Wednesday is dateline yet my mind is thinking about something else;

my plans after graduation.

A few days back while looking at Aya Kato's works, I read upon her biography and that she studied Visual arts and Graphic Design at Aichi University of Education so I decided to check her school out. This got the ball rolling, I started to find out how I can get into the university and I went to check on that scholarship I wanted to apply 2 years back but was not eligible then. Now that I'm graduating, I will be eligible. But this scholarship has a 10% possibility of getting it, chances are very very slim so I'm not betting on it like I did 2 years back.

As for right now, I have other plans too. Previously all I wanted was to live in Japan and wasn't really sure what I want to do. But I do now. I want to continue on design. DESIGN is my life! It suits me, I'll never get sick of it because of its flexibility. I want to travel the world and see many things for myself. I don't want to stay all my life in this boring small island.

I have this crazy idea thats stuck in my head now and unless I talk about it to my parents and get their approval I don't think I'll write it here just yet. I also need to think/plan it through carefully before really doing it. I remember reading this from somewhere I can't remember where. It goes like this, A step in the wrong direction is better than staying on the spot all your life. Whenever I think about this quote, it just reminds how much I despise my parents from trying to force me to stay in Singapore just like them and take the easier route. Because seriously a dream is something that you CAN achieve and it only needs some believing, determination and support! But all they are doing is trying to keep me safe here, believing this is right for me and trying to deter me. They should know better.. when I want something I make sure I get it so the more you try to take it away from me the more I want it.

I understand its their part to bring me up safely so I'll tell myself that sometimes, when things are given to you so easily, you mishandle it and let it get all wasted. Thats why I see this as a test of how much I want it. I will be bidding my time here so when my time comes, I will make the best of it. :)

I'll make sure when I've succeeded, I will look back at this day and say "Yes! I've finally done it (maybe all by myself), I'm going to treasure this moment and aim higher." I will never forget what a friend once said to me, to aim higher even if you didn't make it at least you are much more closer to it. Try to reach for the stars and who knows you might get to the moon! Maybe because of this, from a realist I became an idealist. I may be awfully optimistic and ignorant thinking that I can make it there quick but I believe in it so. Because if there is a will there will always be a way.

So wish me luck at confronting my parents because if they don't allow it, I'm still going to do it even without their help! I'll get to where I want and be what I want to be afterall its my life that I'm living.

Keep this in mind:

Be optimistic.
Be courageous.
Be strong-willed.
Don't ever lose sight of what you want. Because chances might just slip your way!

Good things will come your way for sure. Believing is the first step to anything.

May all your dreams do come true whoever is reading this. :)

Its nice seeing all sorts of different style restaurants created by my friends and me of course. I like the variety. Gives off a sense of individualism. But of course, upgrading your menu is top priority! So anyone have cheese, strawberry, apple, onion and tomato please trade with me! (^0^)

Taste of the hot wheels.

Today, I will be blogging in English because I don't know how to blog this in Japanese. I wouldn't be able to describe what I am going to say now.

So today or technically (its 1:11AM in the morning) yesterday I had my first taste at driving. After getting my Provision Driving Licence (PDL) 2 months ago, I finally reached my first day of class.

Man, why haven't I try this earlier??

Driving is sooo much fun!

Its really a different experience from the arcade games like Daytona or even Need For Speed. Even Go-karts can't beat the adrenaline I get from driving a car.

I booked 3 lessons at one go for today because school has been taking up most of my time so I have no choice but to cramp as many as I can in one day. The instructor told me I'm doing pretty well as an amateur. I even drove on the real road away from the circuit on my 1st day!! Its awesome. I felt liberal but of course anxiety tickled my nerves. Anyway you just got to overcome it, don't panic.

I felt like I know what I'm doing because I've seen my parents, my sisters and my brother drive and somehow I felt like them now. I've always been observant when anyone drove me so naturally I just pick up how they do it and ta-dah! I can do it!

Also, I try to stop the car really smoothly as possible because I HATE very much when you stop the car with a wild jerk or any kind of jerk. A favorite habit of my eldest sister, she loves to drive fast and steps on the brake only very near the stop line so the car jerks angrily and you feel sick each time she does that. So it really disturbs me when I keep having even the slightest jerk, I must train more on my braking.

I haven't been eating sushi in awhile. Oh heck what am I saying, I am always eating sushi its like way tooooo much sushi but I can never get sick of it. Or rather, salmon is gold (at least to me and some of my salmon-lover friends out there). Its one of the numerous heaven's gift bestowed upon us humans! And thank you Japanese for discovering it!!

I didn't take a photo of my beloved salmons because it was gone in a blink of an eye. It was lovely as usual. :) Anyway J❤ introduced me to this wagyu and mushroom garlic rice (below left). Its good but I couldn't finish it I was too full from all my salmon sushis. And J❤'s Value Meal Set A (below right).

I really really hope to hurry complete my course and I'll see you guys on the road! Wish me well (^o^)丿~☆

いつもこの花の名前は知らないんです。

でも、最近はこの花の名前は知った！彼岸花（ヒガンバナ）それとも曼珠沙華（マンジュシャゲ）と呼ばれています。私は好きな花、この花の名前は知るしなければならないと思うだから。この花の両方が浴衣や着物によく見られているんだ。

また、学校プロジェクトのテーマは「花」です。何もすることができる、それで難しいよね！毎日学校でノートパソコンを使用して研究を行うんです。（＠＿＠）
